THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

The " I Never Vote party " received one vote , and is demanding a recount.

Been cooking.

Is it true that Cameron has resigned (due to pressure) and George has taken over?

Fred1new - 04 May 2012 14:18 - 16489 of 81265

The results seem to be pointing to a one term government.

Must be a relief for many!

When the economy picks up from next year onwards the Conservatives will be back on top and get elected with a good majority.

Fred1new - 04 May 2012 15:15 - 16491 of 81265

Are you on "happy pills" again?

Haystack - 04 May 2012 15:45 - 16492 of 81265

The Labour party haven't worked out that the UK doesn't want socialism.

Fred1new - 04 May 2012 15:57 - 16493 of 81265

What is your definition of socialism?

The green should be at the borrom. I just saw David Dimbleby on BBC and some MPs asking the London Mayoral Green candidate what her policies were on the economy and other non green subjects. She was like a fish out of water. It ended up with her complaining that people were being rude to her. It was very funny. No competition from the Greens.

N,

I suppose you left out Plaid Cymru as they had reach too high a degree of sophistication and they would be an unfair comparison for the motley.

Sometimes, I wonder whether democracy is the best way to govern.

It was a good example. An actual Green candidate. The Green MP for Brighton is just as bad. She is just a Socialist with a green tint.

That is the question! "If Green is in the correct position".

Fred1new - 04 May 2012 16:50 - 16499 of 81265

"She is just a Socialist with a green tint."

That is what some of the Right wing of the tory party is saying about Cameron.

More Banana Splits on the way.

Jesus not more David Cameron.

They have already dropped.

But Dreams.shouldn't take my name in vain.

Anyway thought it was the Cs birthday today.

Will offer sympathy to Hays if Ken wins.

You have turned me religious. :-))

I see Labour have made some serious gains....well for a good government they say that you need a good opposition...the only thing that worries me is that people have short memories...we are in the mess we are in because of them...it's the endless spending with the coffers empty that has put us in a tight position....have to say that britain need some jobs...essential for everybody.....very, very high priority...overtaxation like the previous labour government is not going to bring prosperity to this country...no doubt that some of the televised press will promote the lefties more than the right ...it seems a favourite thing for them to do....
