THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

Are we all looking forward to a Boris victory this evening?

Fred1new - 03 May 2012 20:14 - 16465 of 72855

No, but the votes in the rest of the country will be an interesting verdict on the competence of the Cameron Shambles.

Strange how many ministers won't appear for interviews.

Perhaps, they can't get through checks at the borders.

Haystack - 03 May 2012 21:16 - 16466 of 72855

The vote will show pretty much nothing. It is just a mid term election.

Fred1new - 03 May 2012 21:25 - 16467 of 72855

Hays.

Just discontent!

Nothing really!

2336: The BBC's elections expert Professor John Curtice says we may need to keep a watch on UKIP this evening. So far in six wards in which they stood they have averaged 21% of the vote. Perhaps more importantly in the three of these wards that they also contested last year their vote is up by as much as 7 points on 12 months ago. Too early to make too much of this - but do not be surprised if we have more to say about this later in the night.

On some wards they were drinking the hand wash.

Perhaps, for inner cleanliness?

Fred1new - 04 May 2012 09:11 - 16474 of 72855

Just heard Clegg say that the coalition is going to continue their work to repair the UK economy.

Perhaps, Cameron and he can get jobs suitable to their talents.

-----------------

The results of local elections seem to be saying what the countries think of this incompetent government.

skinny - 04 May 2012 09:14 - 16475 of 72855

Estimated turnout 32% - lowest since 2000 - hardly resounding.

Fred1new - 04 May 2012 09:16 - 16476 of 72855

Skinny,

Did you vote?

Well done UKIP

Fred1new - 04 May 2012 10:01 - 16481 of 72855

Is that the BNP's younger brother?

aldwickk - 04 May 2012 10:21 - 16482 of 72855

@ lembitopik : Clegg must accept losses of 250+ requires immediate resignation or explanation why it's NOT necessary and how he'll recover party position
