The alerts section is designed to alert users to customised movements on selected stocks. When they have set an alert the system will automatically send an E-mail when the stock moves in such a way as to trigger the alert. This is an especially useful service for investors who trade using limit orders, or who are looking to set stop and trailing stop losses.
